A wide range of activities is available to our children at lunch time and before and after school. They are run on a volunteer basis by teachers and TA's. Our clubs may include a wide range of sports, music and other interests such as: Netball, Football, Drama, Gym, Cross-Country, First Aid, Orchestra, Art & DT, Recorders, Guitar, Fitness, Public Speaking, Rock Solid, Cookery, Photography, Choir and Film. There is also a homework club where children may ask a teacher for extra support to complete tasks.
If a club is to be cancelled, every effort will be made to inform you and your child the day before. In the unlikely event that a club needs to be cancelled at short notice, efforts will be made to contact you. If this is not possible your child will be supervised until the normal finishing time.
Please be aware that we work on a ‘first come, first served’ basis and therefore cannot guarantee that every child will be able to join a club. The first session of each club will involve the teachers explaining what the club will involve and what activities will take place. It will also allow us to check the numbers. If too many children sign up for a club, we will have to split the group, with half the group attending before half term and half of the group after half term. We will let you know in September after the first club when your child will be taking part.
