Begin to plan arguments for a letter of complaint.


Write the introduction of your letter, and then the first and second complaint.  


Write the forth and fifth complaint. Finish with a summary of your argument. 




Edit your work and present neatly.

Calling all Greville writers!


Here's a project to sink your teeth into this week. The Rotary Young Writers Competition is looking for your short stories or poems. Will you rise to the challenge? 


Theme: 'My Happiest Day'


Competition Guidelines:

To produce a written or typed story in prose entitled 'My Happiest Day'.  The written entry can be fiction or non-fiction, prose, or a poem, as long as the piece relates to the theme.


  • up to a maximum of 550 words
  • Up to a maximum of 40 lines if written as a poem
  • No pictures or drawings to be part of the writing
  • All entries must be legible - can be written or typed



Submission: please email your class teacher with your finished piece along with the completed entry form by 12pm Friday 5th February 2021 OR you can drop a handwritten copy along with the completed entry form into the school office by 4pm Thursday 4th February 2021.
