We are proud that The Greville encourages the children to develop caring attitudes. For example, children take Harvest baskets to Senior Citizens in the area and raise money for many charities.
Like many schools in Surrey, the roads around The Greville become very busy and congested first thing in the morning and at home time. We ask that all parents/carers drive and park legally and considerately.
Each year The Greville takes part in The Golden Boot Challenge which encourages more children to find a "greener" way of travelling to school.
There are cycle and scooter racks which the children may use. Children cycling to school must wear a cycle safety helmet. The school has no responsibility for children cycling to school. It is completely up to individual parents/carers whether their child cycles alone or accompanied. The Greville runs road safety courses for the infants and bikeability courses in Years 5 and 6. The school will not take any responsibility for damage or theft of bikes or scooters left at school.
