TOPIC 1 - litter
We started off with just a few general bins around the school. We now have different recycling and general use bins in the staffroom as well as on 4 different playground areas. We recycle food waste in our kitchen and also have 4 'pencil' bins for putting old felt tip, whiteboard pens and handwriting pens in - these are collected and recycled.
Notes from children about litter - November 2020
Dylan and Nicole (5R) - "There is lots of litter on the all weather pitch. At playtime we eat our break but there are no bins. We need a general bin and a food compost one."
Finn (5M) - " On the all weather pitch when we have our breaktime and eat our fruit there is no bin for us to put our rubbish in. Please can we have a bin for the all weather pitch?"
