TOPIC 3 - biodiversity

At the beginning we had a small gardening area and lots of school grounds, including a woodland walk. We now have bird and animal homes as well as chickens and quails. We also have a greenhouse to enable us to grow a variety of fruit and vegetables all year round. The children spend Science, Art and other lessons looking at the wildlife that the school has to offer.

Year 5 wildlife dicussion

The children think quite a lot of wildlife comes into the school grounds but we need feeding stations and a pond would be amazing, 'especially one with stepping stones so you could get close to the water  and a bird box in the middle.'
