WELCOME TO RECEPTION

May we extend a very warm welcome to you and your child to Reception at The Greville Primary School.  We hope your child will be very happy with us.

The School Day

Please note that the school day in our Infant department begins at 8.55am at which time the children should be ready to begin curriculum tasks. Therefore they need to arrive at school between 8.45 and 8.50am, as the school gates close at 8:55. The reception department finishes at 3.20pm.

Tuesday 24th June - 5.30pm:  Welcome to Reception Information Evening

Tuesday 1st July - 9:30-10:15am: Story Time with your teacher

Friday 4th July - 1:30-2:30pm: Stay and Play session (Autumn/Spring children born 1st Sept-28th Feb)

Monday 7th July - 1:30-2:30pm: Stay and Play session (Spring/Summer children born 1st March-31st Aug)

Wednesday 3rd Sept - 2-3pm: Teddy Bears' Picnic (weather dependant)

Thursday 4th Sept - 9-3pm: Meet the Teacher sessions (sign up for slot during Information evening)

Friday 5th Sept - 9-3pm: Meet the Teacher sessions (sign up for slot during Information evening)

Monday 8th Sept - 8:45-11:30am: Children's first morning in school

Tuesday 9th Sept - 8:45-11:30am: Morning in school

Wednesday 10th Sept - 8:45-1pm: Children staying for lunch

Thursday 11th Sept - 8:45-1pm: Children staying for lunch

Friday 12th Sept - 8:45-3:20pm: Children in school full time from today (Option for Summer born SEND to finish at 1pm)
