Admissions Information for The Greville Primary School.
Welcome to The Greville Primary School, where we are committed to supporting your child's educational journey at various stages. Whether you're considering enrolling your child in our Reception, Year 3, or any other year group, we are here to provide you with the necessary information and guidance.
Surrey County Council is the admission authority for this school. When to apply for a primary school place
In Surrey your child is able to start school at the beginning of the school year following their fourth birthday, although they are not legally required to be in education until the start of the school term following their fifth birthday. You may ask for your child to start school full or part time, or defer entry beyond the academic year. If you wish to defer taking up your child's school place, you must still apply by the given deadline and must discuss this with the Headteacher, Duncan Steele.

Reception Admissions (Age 4+)
We offer 60 places for Reception. All applications are handled through Surrey County Council's admissions portal at Surrey County Council Admissions.
Year 3 Admissions (Age 7+)
We provide 60 additional spaces for children outside The Greville Primary School. Children already enrolled at The Greville will automatically secure a place in Year 3. All applications are handled through Surrey County Council's admissions portal at Surrey County Council Admissions.
In-Year Admissions
We welcome children at any point during the year if there are openings within their desired year group. We encourage you to contact the school to schedule a tour with our Headteacher. All applications must be made through Surrey County Council at Surrey County Council Admissions.

Admission Arrangements 2023/24
Admission authorities (the local authority or the school's governing body/academy trust) must determine their admission arrangements by 28 February each year.
