Experiences
At The Greville, we understand the importance of first-hand experiences and that some knowledge and skills can only be developed through this. We carefully plan for hands-on experiences to support children in their learning and understanding (for example, the use of manipulatives in maths, practical activities and investigations in science and technology and the use of artefacts in history). Our curriculum includes carefully-planned enrichment opportunities, such as: visits to specific places, visitors and opportunities to perform in order to foster children’s creativity, curiosity and provide them with a broad range of experiential knowledge.
