WELCOME TO RECEPTION

May we extend a very warm welcome to you and your child to Reception at The Greville Primary School.  We hope your child will be very happy with us.

The School Day

Please note that the school day in our Infant department will begin at 8.55am at which time the children should be ready to begin curriculum tasks.  Therefore they need to arrive at school between 8.45 and 8.50am.  There is adult supervision on the Junior playground from 8.30am, and unsupervised infants can wait here too.  The reception department finishes at 3.20pm.

New parent information Evening - Thursday 4th July 6.00pm

Stay & Play - 3rd September 2-3pm

An opportunity to visit our setting, play with new friends and meet other parents. 

Meet The Teacher - 4th or 5th September

You'll be asked to sign up to a slot at the information evening. Please email your class teacher if you haven't yet signed up. 

First Day - Friday 6th September

8:55am -1.00pm - Stay for lunch

Second Week - Monday 9th September

All children will start school 8.55am - 3.20pm, with the option for summer born children (1st April - 31st August) to finish at 1pm.
